David Stinnette

A Brief Primer

If you were to ask me to describe myself in one word it would be "boring." If I was afforded the luxury of having two words then they would be "boring" and "cynical." Not necessarily in a bad way, but more in a —"Hey man, do you want to come with us to buy handkerchiefs, purple pants, and t–shirts from concerts that were were happening before we were born, and then grab some 40's of PBR and scoff at people under the "L" tracks for no apparent reason?"–"No thanks, I'm going to stay home and watch this Nova Special about caves on PBS."—kind of way.

But bore and cynicism aside—I enjoy my work more than I should. And I wouldn't give this job up for anything. Design is my life. Web design is my passion.

If you want to hear more about my experiences in design you should go ahead and click on a category from the nav and give those a quick read. If you need more than that (I can go for hours about web/UX design philosophies) you should send me an email and I'll be more than happy to share my thoughts with you on anything from design and type to Carl Kasell and Peter Sagal.

Random Fact:

If it were socially acceptable I would wear a grey t–shirt every day, to every occasion, for the rest of my life. I'm pretty sure they repel bears, as I've never been attacked while wearing one.
